A new South African retail Fashion sensation enters Ghana

South Africa’s Foschini Group – a clothing, sports apparel, homeware and jewellery retailer – is opening five outlets in Ghana this year as it seeks to keep its Africa expansion strategy on track and seek new customers outside its slowing home market.
The group – more correctly known as TFG – operates 17 retail brands including women’s fashion chain Foschini, male clothing brand Markhams, sports apparel chain Totalsports, homeware group @Home and jewellery brand Sterns. It has around 2 000 outlets, with 130 of those operating outside South Africa in markets such as Nigeria, Zambia and Botswana. Apart from Ghana, there are plans to move into Angola, Mozambique and Kenya.
