Let's hope this ends soon so that Iran will be free of tyranny- former Muslim

Marziyeh Amirizadeh, a former Muslim who was once imprisoned and sentenced to death in Iran because of her Christian faith, says the current situation inside the country points to more than political tension—she believes it signals a profound spiritual awakening.

As government pressure on Christians continues to rise — including arrests, harsh prison terms, and tighter restrictions on religious activity — Amirizadeh says believers are not retreating. Instead, many are praying more fervently, quietly sharing the gospel, and holding fast to their faith. Reports suggest that hundreds of Christians have been detained, some receiving long sentences, yet the underground church continues to expand despite the risks.

Having once risked her own life to distribute Bibles and speak openly about Jesus, Amirizadeh now believes the suffering could mark a pivotal moment in Iran’s history. “I believe we are witnessing a miraculous turning point,” she said.

Her perspective urges Christians worldwide not to respond with fear, but with spiritual discernment, recognizing that God often works powerfully in seasons of hardship.
