The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Commends the Pan-African Regal Influence Summit Initiative

 

His Excellency Amb. Wael Fathy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ghana, has commended the Krif Foundation for the successful hosting and organization of the Pan-African Regal Influence Summit 2026.

The commendation was delivered during a courtesy visit to the Egyptian Embassy in Ghana by a delegation led by Rev. Kennedy Okosun, Executive Chairman of the Krif Foundation. The visit was to express appreciation for the Ambassador's support and active participation in the summit, which took place from 23 to 25 January 2026.

The Ambassador, who delivered a keynote presentation at the summit, expressed particular admiration for the high caliber of delegates, the distinguished personalities in attendance, and the quality of discussions.

He described the summit as an excellent example of the pivotal role private initiatives can play in accelerating Africa's development agenda and pledged his continued support for the next phase of activities.

During the meeting, Rev. Kennedy briefed the Ambassador on post-summit activities, including ongoing stakeholder engagements with members of the diplomatic corps, business community, and civil society. He also presented the official summit report, a copy of the adopted communiqué, and an outline of the agreed commitments to addressing the pressing issues identified during the event.

An official citation was presented to the government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, recognizing Egypt’s historic and contemporary contributions to African identity, unity, and intellectual heritage, as well as its vital role in shaping diplomacy and fostering cooperation between Africa, the Arab world, and the global community.

Inspired by the summit, the Ambassador committed to facilitating the participation of the Pan-African Regal Secretariat in the upcoming mid-year African Union Business Summit. This will provide an opportunity to showcase the outcomes of the Accra event, expand networks, and strengthen collaborations.

Present at the meeting were Mrs. Awura Adjoa Okosun, Managing Director of Krif Foundation, and Mr. Rajaab S. Moses, Krif Foundation Consultant in Uganda.
