First Pan-African Regal Influence Summit 2026 Concludes in Accra With Strong Continental Endorsement

 

The inaugural Pan-African Regal Influence Summit 2026 concluded Sunday, 25th January in Accra after three days of high-level dialogue, diplomacy and thought leadership, marking a major milestone in Pan-African engagement on governance, leadership, enterprise and social transformation.

Held Jan. 23–25 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, the summit brought together Representatives of Presidents,Senior Government , Traditional Leaders , Diplomats, Entrepreneurial Icons,Corporate Executives,Security Capos and Civil Society Leaders from across Africa and beyond. Participants described the gathering as a landmark success in scale, participation and outcomes.Organisers were satisfied that expectations were exceeded.

The Government of Ghana as well as The Government of Nigeria formally endorsed the summit, signaling state-level recognition of the initiative. 

Official messages from Chief of Staff Honourable Julius Debrah and the Deputy Chief of Staff Honourable Nana Oye Bampo Addo were delivered by senior presidential appointees, Honourable Mr .Seth Terkper, Honourable Nana Yaa Jantuah,Honourable Shamima Muslim,reaffirming government support for ethical leadership and inclusive governance platforms.

The opening plenary attracted ministers of state, members of parliament, traditional authorities and a distinguished diplomatic corps. 

Continental leadership was underscored by the participation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria, chairman of the summit, who delivered his acceptance address through Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Ambassador Ifedayo Moses Adeoye.

The summit featured an influential lineup of speakers, including Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande-Adeola, the First and only female to date  to have been majority leader of Nigeria’s House of Representatives; Prof. Patrick Okedinachi Utomi, world renowned political economist; Dr. Daniel McKorley, ; Dr. Chief Doli-Wura Zakaria, managing director and CEO of National Investment Bank; Joe Jackson, CEO of Dalex Finance; and King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse who was represented by Nii Adottey Odaawulu I,the Sempe Akwashongtse and other Traditional leaders, Ambassadors and high commissioners from Egypt, Suriname, Sierra Leone and other nations also participated.

Panel discussions addressed key continental priorities, including banking and investment, women and social development, entrepreneurship for growth, and Pan-African diplomacy. Organizers said the sessions produced actionable insights and strategic recommendations beyond rhetorical commitments.

A highlight of the summit was the Awards and Gala Dinner, which honoured individuals and institutions for excellence in leadership, governance, enterprise and public service. The event concluded Sunday with a Thanksgiving Service, emphasizing servant leadership, moral responsibility and nation-building.

Diplomatic representation was extensive. Ghana was represented by Jubilee House officials , while the presidents of Egypt, Suriname, Nigeria, Zambia, Angola, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo participated through their ambassadors and high commissioners.

Speaking at a post-summit press briefing, Rev. Kennedy Okosun,Executive Chairman of  KRIF Ghana Ltd. and Founder of KRIF  Foundation, said the summit was conceived as a long-term Pan-African movement rather than a one-off event.

“This summit has united political, traditional, business and diplomatic leadership around a shared vision of a stronger, values-driven Africa,” Okosun said. “Plans are already underway to host future editions in other African countries to reflect true continental ownership and inclusiveness.”

Organizers said a summit communiqué, capturing resolutions and shared commitments signed by participating leaders, is being finalized and will be released to the media in due course.

Dates and location for the next edition will be announced following consultations with continental partners.

The Pan-African Regal Influence Summit, Okosun added, “has arrived — and it is here to stay.”
