Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) launched Milaf Cola as the world’s first date-based soft drink, aiming to offer a healthier, sugar-free alternative to traditional sodas like Pepsi and Coca-Cola. According to News9Live, the drink is made from locally sourced dates, contains no added sugar, and was unveiled at the Riyadh Date Festival by Thurath Al-Madina, a PIF subsidiary.

Milaf Cola is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which promotes sustainability, economic diversification, and cultural pride.
