Global electronics brand TCL has
reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainable technology, and strategic
partnerships across Africa.
At West African Regional Launch of TCL,
Nour Seklaoui, the Managing Director of TCL, praised Ghana’s efforts toward
environmental sustainability and stressed that meaningful collaboration between
the private sector and the government was essential in advancing the country’s
green transition.
He added that TCL was not only
providing energy-efficient products but also driving technological change
through partnerships that support Ghana’s industrial and environmental goals.
According to Mr. Seklaoui, TCL’s
growing presence in Ghana reflects confidence in the country's evolving
business climate and its openness to green technologies. He emphasized that the
company’s investment is aimed at supporting industrial growth, particularly in
electronics and home appliances.
Sunny Yang, General Manager of TCL’s
Middle East and Africa Business Group (MEABG), echoed this vision of strategic
growth. She explained that TCL’s expansion in Ghana would be backed by
advanced, energy-saving technologies tailored to the needs of African markets.
“This event is more than a product
showcase, it’s a celebration of innovation and sustainable progress. We are
focused on creating value for both our consumers and the Ghanaian economy,” she
said.
Country Manager Stan Wu further
announced that TCL will be a global partner of the Olympic Games from 2025 to
2032. According to him, TCL’s global outreach strategy includes partnerships
with Arsenal, Call of Duty, and other platforms to connect with younger,
tech-savvy consumers. “We will deeply integrate science and technology in
sports nations and promote sustainable development,” he pledged.
Daniel Ray, TCL’s Regional Sales
Director for West Africa, touted TCL’s global growth. He revealed that the
company recorded a 24.6% year-on-year growth in the Middle East and Africa. “We
became the number one ultra-large screen TV brand worldwide and the leading
mini-LED TV brand,” he noted.
Marketing Manager for Ghana and Côte
d'Ivoire, Mr. Dennis Fixon, gave a detailed presentation on TCL’s new lineup of
advanced TVs, smart air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators,
highlighting their smart features and energy-saving technologies.
The launch brought together global
executives, government officials, dealers, media partners, and Arsenal FC

how technology, sustainability, and policy must intersect to create impactful
change.
