Instinct Wave Announces First Ghana CFO Awards

InstinctWave, organizers of Ghana Telecom Awards and West African Telecom Summit & Expo today, announced the launch of the first, ever, CFO Awards in Ghana.

The Ghana CFO Awards will showcase and acknowledge not only Chief Financial Officers and their teams, but also the firms that provide them with the services, support, and technologies that enabled their individual success.

Winners will be honoured at an awards ceremony which will climax with an executive dinner, with industry experts on the 16th of October, 2015 at the prestigious Movenpick Hotel in Accra after a robust evaluation process.

In a statement released, the Chief Executive Officer, Akin Naphtal said CFOs play a key role in driving innovation, business model optimization, strategic leadership, and proactive stakeholder engagement, yet they are the least of personalities mentioned or noticed in the lime-light unlike Chief Executive Officers and Marketing Managers.

According to Naphtal, there is every need to celebrate these accomplishments by financial executives and organizations for their financial leadership and contributions to their companies’ growth which has not been done over the years.

He further noted that the Ghana CFO Awards is the first of its kind in Ghana’s accounting and finance sector which recognizes professionals and businesses.

The Ghana CFO Awards will not be another networking opportunity but rather a celebration of the role that finance plays in Ghana’s economy and acknowledging those who have excelled in the field.
