Infographic: Top 50 tracking apps for smartphones

In Africa, smartphone adoption has boomed over the past few years. According to a study conducted by GeoPoll and World Wide Worx, Internet browsing via phones now stands at 40 per cent across key African markets, with 51% of respondents in Ghana and 47% in Nigeria reporting that they use their phones to access the internet. South Africa lags behind at 40%, and Kenya (34%) and Uganda (29%) are slowest on the uptake.
However, apart from browsing these devices are also essentially used to track data. Consumers can now count calories, track miles travelled and monitor finances on an almost daily basis.
But there’s a wider world of self-tracking out there that can help you optimise your life and make the most of your everyday.
According to Vouchercloud, it has brought together 50 of the best apps to track everything in your life, ranging from your health to your finances and everything else in between; some are scary, some are extremely innovative, but all of them have a purpose.
